We need your voice, not your money.
We live in an exciting time. This is the first time in history that our generation has the financial capacity, resources and internationally agreed plan to put an end to extreme poverty.
Your voice is more valuable to us than your money. We need you to speak out against global poverty and spread the word to as many people as you can.
Tell people about us
The best way to help make poverty history is to tell other people about the campaign.
Here are some ideas:
Give a talk at your workplace, school or church about the Millennium Development Goals and the Make Poverty History campaign. You can use this PowerPoint Presentation (PPT: 1163KB) to help you.
Give out the brochure (PDF: 70 KB)
Ask people to sign the petition (PDF: 140 KB)
You could also start a Make Poverty History club at your school, university, or in your workplace.
Do you have your own ideas? Why not
and let us know.
Let us know what you're doing to make poverty history. We'd like to know what you've been doing, and who you've been talking to - whether it's a politician, a letter to the editor or giving a talk at your local church or school.
Send us an
and make sure to include:
- Your name and contact details
- Details of the event
- Who was there
- How it went
- Photos for us to add to our online Gallery
